  • Milford Public Library
57 New Haven Ave, Milford, Connecticut 06460
    Hosted by Milford Photo

Rare is the occasion when a camera matches it’s subject matter as well as Jesse Thompson’s Olympus OM-D did during a trip to Ireland. He spent 3 days shooting one quintessentially Gaelic scene after another. The Olympus Dramatic Tone effect was perfect for accentuating the beauty and bluster of the Irish coast during the month of March. Jess will review his images and discuss his experience with the gear. He will share scenic techniques he re-learned while on holiday.

This event is FREE to the public.

March 1, 2018, MILFORD, CT – Be a brave and warm-hearted soul, and become part of the fun when Literacy Volunteer of Southern CT’s annual Leprechaun Leap comes to Walnut Beach on Saturday, March 17, 2018.

Join the many other brave, warm-hearted souls who will “take the leap” for the Center at 1:00 pm sharp! “Leapers” from around the city will collect donations from family members, co-workers and friends, and run, jump or dive into the icy cold waters at Walnut Beach.

But if you’re a little timid to make the splash, show your warm heart by making a pledge of support to a braver soul who’s leaping. There’s always plenty of room for spectators so come down to the beach anyway!
